Production
when prefabricating:
- we have a low waste of material by incorporating systems to remake and/or reusing materials from the used products.
- we support resilient systems by recycle the excess we cannot use any longer.
- we keep general costs and carbon emission lower by using less trucks, fewer machines and equipment on-site.
- we encourage to build cooperatively within the company, with less intervention from other parties on-site, it ensures us to perform quality in every step and can follow the progress more closely and aligned with deadlines.
- less transportation are needed for workers on-site (driving back and forth from their homes) due to the few days scheduled.
- we provide a resource-efficient method of delivery in how we ship the material in one container. Instead of delivering from several cities we only transport from one city to another in a 12 meter long container.
Lifestyle
when living in a bloccobuild house:
We ensure our costumers live in a house that is net-zero, meaning that the house cuts emissions as low as zero as possible, balancing the power a home needs and renewing energy back again. It is a type of house that the European Union strives for all residents in the EU to have by 2030. We strive for that goal by providing:
- high thermal efficiency R-value (calculation)
- solar panels for renewable energy
- windows with great U-value (Uw: 0.77 W/m2k)
- heat pump with COP of 5
